Bridges:
A fixed bridge is a structure designed to replace one or more missing teeth. It is also called a permanent bridge since it is not removable. A well-crafted fixed bridge should look and feel like your natural teeth.
The process of making a fixed bridge requires several visits. Initially the teeth on either side of the space to be filled in are prepared, a temporary bridge is made for your mouth, and an impression is taken which is sent to the dental laboratory. There the bridge is custom built from a model. Most bridges are made with an understructure of precious metals (silver and palladium), and porcelains are then added to match the color of your other teeth. On the final visit the temporary bridge is removed and the permanent bridge is placed. A fixed bridge is one of the most effective techniques for comfortably replacing missing teeth, and usually provides many years of quality service.
